PITCH
Heartless centers on a brother and sister, Sofie and Sebastian, played by Julie Zangenberg and Sebastian Jessen. Sofie and Sebastian are the bearers of a dreadful curse. In order to live, they must suck the life from others.
Both are determined to solve the mystery of the curse that is upon them, and the hunt for answers leads the duo to Ottmannsgård, a gloomy, tradition-bound boarding school, where a new life begins for both of them. They are soon inducted into school society, where the two teenage drifters prove hard to handle. At the school, they first fall properly in love, and must deal with the strong feelings this prompts - as well as resisting the compulsion to suck life from the other pupils.
But Sofie and Sebastian are not the only ones at Ottmannsgård to harbor a secret, and little by little a dark and terrible story going back 400 years starts to seep up through the floorboards of the old building, making this boarding school the setting for a fateful story of sin and forgiveness, life and death, love and mysterious forces.
