THEY GOT FUNDING
In the final season of BBC's Wallander, two of the films are based on Henning Mankell's last novel in the series of detective Kurt Wallander: The Restless Man.
For the first time we experience the seriousness in Wallanders Alzheimer's. We follow Wallander's fight against the disease and a new case where a woman is found murdered in a swamp. The tracks are misleading, and Wallander feels more and more paranoid, as his sister-in-law also disappears sporadically.
The case in this last movie will be a challenge for Wallander, realizing that it is probably his last criminal case. In a battle against the clock - and his advanced illness - this case involves both Wallander's family and the Swedish military.
This season concludes a celebrated television series.
